Friday Farm School

Fridays, 9:30–3:00 · Ages 9–12 · Limited to 12 students
Friday Farm School is a six-week program on the farm, running on Fridays when school is out.
Students spend the day in the field and the farm kitchen — harvesting, saving seed, clearing beds and putting the garden down for winter, then cooking what they've picked. Along the way they learn how a small farm actually works: what the season asks for, where food comes from, and what it takes to grow it.
Alongside garden and kitchen work, there's time for art and observation — botanical drawing, seasonal printmaking, and simple hand-built projects from natural materials.
We cook and share lunch together most weeks, using farm ingredients wherever we can. Students work with real tools, build kitchen skills, and take on responsibilities that the rest of the group depends on.
Over the session, students get to know:
– How a working farm moves through the fall
– The relationship between soil, seed, and food
– Care, contribution, and shared work
– Seasonal cooking and simple family meals
– Observation through art and making

Tuition + Registration
Friday Farm School — Fall Session (6 Weeks)
Limited to 12 students
• Standard Tuition: $550
• Supported Tuition: $300 (2 spaces available)
Tuition includes:
– All instruction
– Shared lunch + snack
– Farm-grown ingredients
– Art and project materials
Payment options:
– Pay in full or in two instalments
– $100 non-refundable deposit, applied to your tuition, required to hold a place
– Remaining tuition is refundable up to two weeks before the first session. After that, tuition is non-refundable unless the space can be filled
Tuition has increased this session to reflect the actual cost of running the program.
We aim to make this program accessible while sustaining it responsibly. If you would like to request a supported space, please indicate this on your registration form.
