Young Cooks Supper Club is a four-week after-school series focused on building confidence in the kitchen while preparing simple, seasonal family meals.

Each week, students prepare dinner to bring home, including a simple, seasonal dessert. They’ll practice chopping, mixing, seasoning, and assembling the meal themselves with guidance and care. The kitchen is calm and collaborative, with an emphasis on building confidence through real responsibility.

We focus on foundational skills that children can use again and again at home:

– Safe knife skills
– Measuring and baking
– Sauce-making and flavour balance
– Working independently and as part of a team

Each meal will serve approximately 4–6 people and will be sent home oven-ready with simple reheating instructions.

Sample meals

Each week, students will prepare a complete family dinner to bring home, along with a simple seasonal dessert.

Sample menu may include:

– Hearty soup with buttermilk biscuits
– Enchiladas with fresh guacamole
– Baked pasta with salad
– Veggie quesadillas with homemade dip

Seasonal desserts may include:

– Apple crisp
– Strawberry shortcake
– Oatmeal cookies
– Mini chocolate cakes

Each meal serves approximately 4–6 people and is sent home oven-ready with simple reheating instructions.

Payment & Refund Policy

A $75 non-refundable deposit holds your child’s place.

Remaining tuition (minus deposit) is refundable until May 7.

After May 7, tuition is non-refundable. If we are able to fill the space from the waitlist, a refund (minus deposit) may be issued.
